The Foxglove Spa's Frequently Asked Questions
01: Where are you located?
We are located inside of the Augusta Kroc Center! If you are a member, we are located directly off of the fitness area. If you are a non-member, we will meet you in the lobby and escort you to the massage clinic in the fitness area since we are behind a manually controlled door. You DO NOT have to be a member of the Kroc Center to get a massage at our spa.
02: Why can't I chose my appointment time online?
Our spa space is shared with another massage company that uses the spa on the days that we do not take appointments. The only way to currently find out what timeslot is available is by filling out the form at the bottom on our availability page or by calling us directly.
03: What forms of payment do you take?
Payment will be required at the end of massage. We currently take cash, check, or credit card. Sorry, no EBT's or Insurance/Medical FlexPay cards.
04: How far in advance do I need to make an appointment?
We DO NOT take same day appointments. Our timeslots fill up pretty quickly so we need 24 hours notice (at minimum) to schedule your appointment. This helps us better serve you and tailor treatment to your specific needs.
05: I haven't had a massage before and im scared. What can I expect on my first visit?
We will greet you with a smiling face and an introduction! Then we will offer you a form to fill out that has some general questions about you and your medical history which is important for us to know so that we know some of what your body has been through (surgeries, conditions, illnesses, etc.). We will then ask you to remove all jewelry and then undress to your level of comfortability (typically down to just bottom under garments). We will step out and allow you to undress. You will then get on the massage table and lie face down with your face inside of the face cradle. The sheet and blanket should be pulled over you again before the therapist returns into the room. Then the massage will begin as scheduled. upon completion of the massage we ask that you fill out a feedback form and then we will collect payment for the massage. We are easy and painless so don't be scared!
